Four new cases of COVID-19 Sunday
LIHU‘E — The state Department of Health Kaua‘i District Health Office reported four new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday — three residents and one visitor.
All of the cases are travel-related, and had negative pre-travel tests before arriving on Kaua‘i. One case was detected through the county’s resident post-travel testing center at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall. Close contacts are being identified, directed to quarantine and offered testing.
The island now has 23 confirmed active cases, all in isolation. One case remains hospitalized. There are now 99 individuals in DOH-directed quarantine. The number of close contacts in quarantine may increase as the investigation continues.
Kaua‘i now has a cumulative case count of 113, of which 100 are confirmed locally, one is a probable case, and 12 are positive cases that were diagnosed elsewhere — with tests taken on the mainland whose positive results did not arrive until they were on Kaua‘i.

Keep pushing for MANDATORY second test paid for by the traveller. So what if it slows down some. We can slog through business until the vaccine appears.

So the death rate is 0 then? Open the economy and let the people go Pharaoh! We don’t need the government nannying us.
Death rate is no longer 0. Governor and Mayor sold us out. Lives for money for the tourist industry.
