LIHU‘E — Healing Horses Kaua‘i is hosting a fun Halloween photo session with their horses and will be distributing candy on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 1 to 4 p.m.
“A special Halloween event to get dressed up and come see the horses,” said Karin Stoll, Healing Horses Kaua‘i representative. “Three horses will be dressed up and ready for pictures. Your pictures will be texted or emailed to you.”
Photos with a horse will cost $15.
On Saturday, Nov. 7, Healing Horses will be hosting a drive-in movie event, “Wheels, Meals, and Reels” for Kaua‘i’s ‘ohana to enjoy. Dinner will be provided. “The Black Stallion” is the movie.
The gates open at 5:30 p.m. in the Healing Horses Kaua‘i’s pasture near Kuhio Highway just off the Kapa‘a bypass road in Waipouli. The movie starts at 6:15 p.m.
Atendance is limited to 40 vehicles. All attendees are to stay within their assigned parking stalls except when transiting to and from the toilets. When in transit they are to wear masks and practice social distancing.
Ticket reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration closes on Thursday, Nov. 5. The cost of the drive-in event is $40 per person. Cancellations need to be made no later than Wednesday, Nov. 4, at noon.
If it rains, Healing Horses will send an email out by 4 p.m. that day and the event will be postponed to Saturday, Nov. 21.
