Mahalo for the kindness
Winona Steed and myself Joanne C. Watanabe wish to express our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to the caring and loving people of Kaua‘i.
To: Mayor Derrick Kawakami for his encouraging videos and the Sunshine Farmers Kupuna program which brought us fresh vegetables and fruits.
To: The Kekaha Community Association, E Ola Mau (special thanks to The 4Fs Dennis Eguchi, Buddy Ayudan, Garreth Agena, Patrich Pereira plus Derrick Akita) the Churches and other coordinated groups for the gift of fresh fish and Malama Meals program for the MRE food.
To: Kumu Puni Patrick of our Kupuna Klub who quickly organized us to better support each other in creative ways.
And on Mothers Day we were completely surprised with a beautiful card and bouquet and food with expressions of Love from Japanese Grandma’s Cafe Hanapepe, J02 Restaurant Kapa‘a, Domino Pizza Lihu‘e and Commuity Volunteers.
