Raymond ‘Ray’ Lee Leton
Raymond “Ray” Lee Leton, 69, of Kapa‘a, passed away on June 22, 2020, at his home. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on April 27, 1951, and was best known as the inventor of Flotation Boardshorts.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents Donald Leton and Mary Leton.
Ray is survived by his son Van (Etsuko) Leton, daughters Keana Leton and Noelani Cassidy, brother Richard Leton, sisters Renee Leton and Diane McGalliard; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Janet Lynne Sipila
Janet Lynne Sipila of Wainiha, passed away on May 12, 2020, at home at the age of 62. She was born on July 25, 1957, in New Jersey and was a retired nurse
Janet was preceded in death by parents Robert and Lorraine Sipila, sister Karen Sipila.
Janet is survived by caregiver Russell Haitsuka, brother Robert Sipila, Gary Sipila, numerous aunties, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life will held at a later date.
