Shigeru ‘Shige’ Matsumoto
Shigeru “Shige” Matsumoto passed away on June 1, 2020, in Lihue, at the age of 87. He was born on Jan. 9, 1933. He was a veteran with the U.S. Army and was a propane gas installer and delivery person.
Shigeru was preceded in death by his son Randall “Randy” Matsumoto.
Shigeru is survived by wife Marilyn Matsumoto; son Lance Matsumoto of Lihue; daughter-in-law Alison Matsumoto of Lihue; 3 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services to be held at a later date.
Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
Michael George Wadley
Michael George Wadley, 46, passed away on May 24, 2020, in his house in Kalaheo. He was born in Tennessee on Oct. 24, 1973, and worked as a Zip Line Operations Manager in Kauai.
Michael George is survived by his six year old daughter Lily Wadley and family.
A date, time, and location for a celebration of life will be set at a later date.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Evangeline Kahaulelio
Evangeline Kahaulelio passed away on June 4, 2020, at the age of 85. She was born on Kauai on Feb. 22, 1935.
Evangeline is preceded in death by her parents Filomeno and Pastora Patacsil; brothers, James Patacsil, Frederico Patacsil, Donald Patacsil, Joseph Patacsil; sisters, Mary Hongo, Petra Pasion.
Evangeline is survived by her husband Frederick “Freddie” Kahaulelio; sons, Glenn (Toni) Magabanua, Romeo (Ellen) Magabanua, Dennis Smith; daughters, Angelina (Rollie) Rogers, Christina Smith, Bonnie (Eric) DeSilva, Fredna Kahaulelio-Moe, Angela (Alvin) Kahaulelio-Yadao; brother Benny (Judy) Patacsil; sisters, Dorothy Luna, Lillian Siaris, Rafina Macam; 25 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date
