Bernard P. Carvalho Sr.
Bernard P. Carvalho Sr. was born on May 22, 1940, and passed away on his birthday on May 22, 2020, at his home at the age of 80. He was a retired Linemen for Kauai Electric Company; Owned and operated Cobra Underground Electric Co. and was also an avid farmer, rancher and entrepreneur businessman. He was also an all-star Basketball player for his alumni, Kapaa High School Clippers where he was known as Cobra!
Bernard was preceded in death by his parents Manuel Jr. and Georgina S. Carvalho; brother Stanley (Leina) Carvalho; grandson Waika Wila Carvalho
Bernard is survived by his children, Bernard (Regina) P. Carvalho Jr., LewAlan (Karlotta) Carvalho, Bernalla (Sweetheart) Carvalho, Andy (Cheryl) Carvalho, Jon (Crisha) Chung; brother Glenn (Ruth) Carvalho; sisters, Yvonne (Masa) Camat, Beverly (Norman Sr.) Holt; grandchildren, Bronson, Brennen, Brittney, Brandi, Nalu, Liko, Dustin, Breaun, Taylor, Kiana, Aliyah, Gavin, Logan and Jacie; 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services will be held at St. Catherine’s Church on June 20, 2020. Visitation to begin at 9 a.m., Mass to follow at 10 a.m. and burial will take place at Kauai Memorial Gardens at 11:30 a.m.
A celebration of life with family and friends will be held at a later date.

Rosita Cacabelos Garcia passed away on March 20, 2020, in Honolulu, at the age of 60. She was born on July 12, 1959, in Alcala Pangasinan, Philippines.
Rosita was preceded in death by parents Nemesio and Ciriaca Garcia; brothers, Roberto (Clarita) Garcia, Andres Garcia.
Rosita is survived by brothers, Emilio Garcia of Alcala Pangasinan, Philippines, Wildredo (Raquel) Garcia of Sablayan Occ. Mindoro, Philippines, Romeo Garcia of Kekaha; sisters Bernardina (late Vicente) Capena of Alcala Pangasinan, Philippines, Pacencia (Onofre) Ablan of Sablayan Occ. Mindoro, Philippines, Felicitas (late Cirilo) Cadiente of Eleele, Margarita Garcia of Alcala Pangasinan, Philippines; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Paulina Rabasa Ibia, 77, of Hanamaulu, passed away on May 27, 2020, at her home. She was born in Koloa, on June 22, 1942, and worked as a greeter for Walmart.
Paulina is preceded in death by her husband Henry Ibia Sr.; son Thomas James Ibia; parents Mamerto and Maria Agana Rabasa; sisters, Dorothy Fort, Catherine Delima; brothers, Juan Rabasa, Carlos Rabasa, Pedro “Pete” Rabasa; brother-in-law Joseph Brun.
Paulina is survived by her sons, Henry (Doreen) Ibia Jr., Robert (Mindi) Ibia, Darryl (Dayna) Ibia; daughter Wanda (Abraham) Ibia; sister Martina Brun; sister-in-law Minako Rabasa; grandchildren, Hank Kawika, Schyler, Kaylin, Clifton, Preston, Raevyn-Simone, Kjandra-Sanoe, Kawika, Chelsie, Charisse, Chasa’re of Kauai, Ashlyn of Reno, Nevada; great-grandchildren, Chysen “Koa,” Chestyn “Bob,” Chaysen “Kekai,” Kyhianna, Kyhiani, Kyhiarah, Kierstyn, Jayzelyn, Jordyn of Kauai, Jai of Reno, Nevada; numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
