LIHU‘E – The Department of Public Works is announcing road worked will be performed on portions of Malae Street in the Molokoa Subdivision on June 5, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.
LIHU‘E – The Department of Public Works is announcing road worked will be performed on portions of Malae Street in the Molokoa Subdivision on June 5, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.
The scope of the work includes edge of pavement cleaning, and application of seal coat asphalt emulsion to the road pavement. Portions of Malae Street will be affected.
Please see the map below for specific locations and be on the lookout for Road Work signs as this is a good indication that work is in the area.
Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closure. No parking will be allowed on the road or road shoulders. No vehicle access on the roadway or grassy shoulders. No vehicle entering or exiting until the seal coat is dry and road reopened. No walking or riding on wet seal coat. The work zone will be coned off to prevent anyone from driving or stepping on wet materials. No Street Parking within the work zones will be allowed and any vehicle left on the street in the work zone after 7:30 a.m. will be towed away at the driver’s/owner’s expense.
