Herbert Yasuo Kakutani
Herbert Yasuo Kakutani passed away on May 20, 2020, in Kapa‘a, at the age of 78. He was born on Dec. 11, 1941, in Lawa‘i.
He is survived by brother Harry Kakutani and sisters Sachi Mori and Marsha Tokuda.
The family requests no koden (monetary gifts).

Katherine R.L. Ramboyon
Katherine R.L. Ramboyon passed away on May 18, 2020, in Lihu‘e, at the age of 88. She was born on May 22, 1931, in Hilo. She was a tax clerk.
She was preceded in death by husband Juan Ramboyon, mother Luciana Nuesca and brothers Richard Liaga and Robert Liaga.
She is survived by sons Jon Ramboyon of Lihu‘e, Lawrence (Cindy) Ramobyon of Honolulu and Leonard (Kari) Ramboyon, daughters Roberta (Thomas) Lang of Wailua, Leslie (Fernando) Bran of Lihu‘e and Yolanda (Alan) Urakami of Hilo, 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, sister Mercedes Pagatpatan of Honolulu, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at a later date.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Julita R. Rame
Julita R. Rame passed away on May 12, 2020, in Glendale, California. She was born July 11, 1936, in Villasis, Pangasinan, Philippines. She was a Prudential Life Insurance agent.
She was preceded in death by husband Maximo P. Rame, parents Saturnina and Pascual Dosono, and Ramon Raposas.
She is survived by daughters Eleanor (Darly John) R. Apuyod and Edna D. Mo, sons Edgardo R. Rame and Ferdinand (Tanya) R. Dosono, grandchildren Darlene Apuyod, Diane (Romel) Rayray, Schuyler Apuyod, Jessica (Ryan) Bean, Ashton (Jordan) Contrades, Isaiah Dosono and Aaron Dosono, and great-granchildren Lily Bean, Charlie Bean, Lilly Contrades and Kamalei Contrades.
Services and burial will be held Saturday, May 23, at Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.
