LIHU‘E– Today, Kauai Community College’s Creative Media Student Showcase will be presented online at 3 p.m.
Jennifer Escobedo, an international student of the Creative Media program says there is no physical meeting; everything will be done virtually.
“With social distancing we are coordinating everything via ZOOM, we are having meetings every week to know what is the best option to show the work of the students of the spring 2020,” said Escobedo.
Escobedo said its important to showcase the projects they have been working on since the beginning of the semester to promote the creativity of the students by showing them to the community.
“I will show two projects, one of graphic design and the other of music production which will help me grow as a visual artist and personally,” said Escobedo. “This event is important to us, since every semester the students have to carry out a final project in the different creative fields of the program.”
According to Escobedo, viewers can expect an afternoon full of art, creativity and music, where they will be amazed at the quality of the work of the creative media students of KCC.
“Also if they have family and friends in the program they can see their work and support them by attending the event via online,” said Escobedo.
