Sheraton Kaua‘i Resort Banquet Manager Natural-Lee Garcia (she was in a March of Dimes Ambassador Family) was even able to wear a lei (the aroma of kalua and cabbage was stronger than the fragrance of puakenikeni) while helping assemble the 2,000 lunches during the We Donate.You Dine luncheon (it was all pickup, and mahalo to Kaua‘i Police Department Chief Todd Raybuck for wanting to be part of that excitement), where Pillare Mukai (wasn’t she working remotely?) had her volunteer T-shirt on. Did we have the volunteer shirts on when Tom Shigemoto celebrated his retirement Thursday, Stacie Chiba-Miguel? The Shops at Kukui‘ula is hosting a pop-up farmers’ market Wednesday from 3:30 p.m.
What? They changed the name to Police, Pastors &Platters? Oh, no pancakes…just platters for the whole family (not just youth 18 years and younger)…kudos, John Cabello, senior pastor of New Hope Lihu‘e, KPD Chief Todd Raybuck and all the hands that make this happen.
