Patricia ‘Pat’ Marie Hillegonds
Patricia “Pat” Marie Hillegonds, 68, of Lihue, passed away at home on April 21, 2020. She was born in Indiana on Oct. 15, 1951, was a retired registered nurse and was employed with St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church as the Outreach Director.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Viva Hillegonds; brother Glenn Hillegonds and sister Norine Wagner.
Pat is survived by two sisters, Linda (Judd) Rinsema of Arizona, Cindi (Gary) Dobbs of Indiana; two hanai children, Anais Falantin James of New York, Aymeric Falantin of France; sister-in-law Maxine Hillegonds; brother-in-law Thomas Wagner; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be announced at a later date.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Isaac Anana Poe Jr.
Isaac Anana Poe Jr., 79, of Kapaa, passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on April 4, 2020. He was born on Oahu on Nov. 28, 1940, and retired from Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital as a groundskeeper.
He was preceded in death by his son Isaac Anana Poe III; grandson Isaac Keliikoa Poe Ortiz; sister Rachel Heath and brother Delamor Ikalani.
Isaac is survived by his life time companion Barbara Wong; daughters, Connie Poe, Celeste “Ulu” Poe, Cheryl Poe Wong; son Clement Poe; sister Alice Panui; 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private burial services were held at Kauai Memorial Gardens. The family will be holding a celebration of his life at a later date.
