Sydney Theodora (she’s a Hawaiian Adventure Romance novelist!) said “Christene” Mryval is excited about getting her stimulus check. Sydney is getting excited about moving into her new Koloa home.
And, there is spaghetti and pizza on tap, Friday when Bobby V’s Italian Restaurant Pizzeria (Yes, the farmers market still happens from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Coconut Marketplace in Waipouli!) hosts a drive-up, pickup fundraiser to help Kelvin Moniz and his Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank ‘ohana. Call ahead (821-8080) so dinner will be ready when you drive up between 4 and 7 p.m. OK, Stephanie Shinno…you’ve been forewarned – order dinner!
Edie Ignacio Neumiller (is she working remotely?) of the Zonta Club of Kaua‘i said next Wednesday is Denim Day (the Zonta Club of Hanalei is doing this, too) when people can wear denim in support of victims and survivors of sexual assault…with a lot of people doing the working remotely, or furloughed, and the social distancing rules, this will probably be a social media event so check out the Zonta Club social media pages.
