The roadway to the Hanapepe 1911 bridge has been repaved, delineators marking the separation between motor vehicle and pedestrian cure, Wednesday afternoon while a pedestrian takes advantage of the bridge to cross over the Hanapepe River. The historic bridge reopened to all traffic Friday.

HANAPEPE — The county Department of Water announced the reopening of the historic Hanapepe Road bridge over the Hanapepe River to motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians Friday.
