Over on the other side of the island, Farrah Krovoza, Jeremy Brown, Karyn Van Zee and Kayti Lathrop were working the Kilauea School Drama Club (practice is short, only twice a week) for their upcoming Disney’s “Frozen Jr.” production that opens March 6.
Kilauea School teacher Lisa Squire was hosting the Etiquette, Level 2 group, including Nayah Cornell, Ariana Welborn (her mom Courtney Haas Welborn of Rock Your Radiance sponsors the club), Sophia Cornell, Anela Attix, Fia Stein and Kalina Willis, to a tea party celebrating the completion of four weeks of etiquette training.
Courtney (she said she’s a Hanalei School graduate) is getting excited because she was accepted by the Flying Solo program in New York and will have an opportunity to sew with, and sell some of her Rock Your Radiance goods, for three months, starting mid-March.
And, if you’re looking for something to do this weekend, Heu‘i Bandmann (she coaches choir at Kilauea School, too) will be performing today at the Kaua‘i Steel Guitar Festival that starts from noon at the Sheraton at Coconut Beach. Kilipaki Vaughan is on stage Saturday.
