Kudos to all those Kauai Community College and American Culinary Federation chefs on another great Breakfast (34 years of great food experience!) where Fred Cowell had his Kauai Coffee Company crew (yes, Darla Domingo is back from her trip, and is wondering about the Workplace Wellness kickoff) on doing the traditional morning brew (they even have it on tap at Wabi-Sabi with Jason Ebesu at the Kauai Community Market).
Kudos to all those Kaua‘i Community College and American Culinary Federation chefs on another great Breakfast (34 years of great food experience!) where Fred Cowell had his Kaua‘i Coffee Company crew (yes, Darla Domingo is back from her trip, and is wondering about the Workplace Wellness kickoff) on doing the traditional morning brew (they even have it on tap at Wabi-Sabi with Jason Ebesu at the Kaua‘i Community Market).
Pono Tokioka (remember when we used to watch him play golf with Ronn Miyashiro and the Hawai‘i Warriors men’s golf team at The Burns intercollegiate tournaments?) was with Beth “Sunny Side Up” enjoying the morning experience, and even Kenji Miyata (he’s the Hawai‘i Junior Golf Association tournament operations guy!) had to come and take in the Pot Heads ceramic sale where new Kaua‘i Community College Chancellor Joseph Daisy couldn’t resist those unique student-made creations.
Coach Ronn is back when The Burns opens play, Thursday morning with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. at the Wailua Golf Course, and Carol Texeira and Anna Baudouin of the Kaua‘i Chamber of Commerce missed out when Michelle Emura photo-bombed the meeting of Randy Francisco (president of the Kaua‘i Filipino Chamber of Commerce) and Mark Perriello with the new chancellor.
More excitement as Girl Scout Kaua‘i coordinator Angela Hoover welcomes this year’s shipment of cookies (Renee Hicks and the Rotary Club of Kapa‘a —they’ve got Taste of Hawai‘i coming up, June 7 — is asking for help unloading all those boxes) that will go on market sales starting Friday…check out the new Lemon Ups.
