Menehune, Red Raiders ready for a showdown
The Kauai High School Red Raiders boys basketball team placed fifth the last two seasons in the Division II Hawaii High School Athletic Association state championships.
They will play their arch-rival, the Waimea Menehune, at Clem Gomes Gym in Waimea at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Voyagers, Warriors clash
Island, the newest members of the KIF in boys basketball, will travel to battle the Kapaa Warriors at 7 p.m. at the Bernice Hundley Gym in Kapaa.
KIF girls, boys soccer to host double-headers
The Kauai High School boys varsity soccer team hosts Waimea Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Vidinha Stadium. The Raider varsity girls and Waimea vasity girls square off at 3:30. This will be followed by Kapaa varsity boys taking on Island School at 5:30 and, immediately after, the Warrior varsity girls will take on Island at 7:30 p.m.
