LIHUE — Stanley Henos was so excited about the four new tires for his truck, he was among the line of people Monday morning at Tire Warehouse.
“He was really happy,” said Sharron Weber of Tire Warehouse. “But we had to schedule him into the lineup. He couldn’t wait until after Christmas.”
Henos was selected by the Child and Family Service as the recipient of the four new Goodyear tires for his pickup that needs work done.
“I’m so happy,” Henos kept repeating while waiting on the Tire Warehouse crew to start work on changing out the worn tires. “I moved here with my family, including six children, from Maui to take care of the church. I work for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, but the tires are expensive. I thank God for the tires.”
Weber said Henos’ truck still has a broken window that needs to be repaired.
