In loving memory of Susan (Sue) Dianne Mahelona. Born Dec. 15, 1947. Passed away Nov. 17, 2019.
Loved wife of John Mahelona, and dearly loved mother of Erik, Aaron, Nalani and Keoni. Loved grandma to her mo‘opuna Lehua and Pono.
A celebration of life will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Dec. 2, at Ko‘olau Hui‘ia Protestant Church, Kealia Road, Anahola. The visitation will be from 10 a.m. and service will start at 11 a.m. The service will include a welcome from the ohana including remembrances and prayers from loved ones and friends. A reception will follow the service.
She was a hard-working person who provided for her family and friends. She was the owner and manager of Sue’s Taxi for nearly 30 years, a well-known family business on Kauai. She was kind and always put the needs of others before her own. She will be terribly missed.

Arthur Kahahawai
Arthur Kahahawai is survived by his partner Michele Manders, sons AJ Kahahawai and Christian Kahahawai, and daughters Sharon Kahahawai and Leilani Kahahawai.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 1:30 p.m. at the Lydgate Park main pavilion.
Kauai Memorial Gardens is assisting the family with arrangements.
