POIPU — Kauai police are investigating the deaths of two adults whose bodies were discovered Friday in a South Shore condo. Police said the deaths appear to be the result of a murder-suicide.
Police found the bodies of a 50-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman in a condo at Poipu Shores about 11:20 a.m. Police were dispatched to conduct a welfare check on a man who had not been seen or heard from for two days, according to a county press release issued Friday evening.
Autopsies are pending to determine the cause of their deaths. Their identities have not been released.
An investigation continues.
