More Halloween fun drifted in the air as Susan Irie (she was dressed as a wire stripper) led the Kauai Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours at The 808 shared workspace located inside Kilohana Lighting in Puhi, and Myrvie Buster was getting ready for the Filipino food they’re getting ready to distribute as part of the Thanks Of Giving food drive.
Kudos to Moani Tolentino (she was clearly in command over John Kaohelauli‘i in the konane game) and Sandi Quinsaat on spearheading the great makahiki celebration at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort &Spa. Aletha Kaohi was talking about the menehune at the Hyatt, and Jan Tenbruggencate was talking about the menehune book at the night opening of the Lihue Public Library, where state Department of Transportation people were available to discuss the Lihue Airport master plan.
Victoria Lam and Sierra Hampton Eng were busy making sure all those Halloween creations at the library worked.
OK, it’s time to go check out the Veterans Day Parade in Kapaa Saturday. Hurry, the roads close at 9 a.m.
