Ada Koene (she’s still looking for photographs for the Koloa Plantation Days historic book) came to look at a painting at the ART Kauai exhibit after the Saturday farmers market closed, and Jamilee Jimenez had her family doing the Small Fry Keiki Halloween crafting corner.
Mayette Loseto is getting nervous about the class that’s signed up to learn ti leaf lei during the Thursday Market, but the big Halloween (er, it’s the Halloween Festival) event comes up Saturday when Scott Giarman and all those Kauai United Way people wake up the spirits at the walkathon followed by the costume contests (how many will be walking in costume, anyway?), trick-or-treating, and other goodies.
