Matt Morelock of the Kauai Folk Festival said theyll be going until tonight at the Grove Farm Museum. Matt and the Slo County Stumblers,with performers coming from mid-Tennessee and California as some of the best fiddlers in America, were teasing Friday-evening shoppers with a preview of the festival.

Mike Kano was just in time for the preview, getting dinner along with Lawton and Naomi Sugihara and their grandchild.
Barbara Shell was gallery-sitting at the Kauai Society of Artists gallery at the 2019 Art Kauai exhibit, where she has a piece that was accepted for the show. She said one of the aspects of gallery-sitting is being able to get closer looks at all of the pieces that are in the show.
Congratulations to Mistee Bailey-Myrick and the Malama Pono Health Services ohana on their new facility that celebrated its grand opening Thursday. Rob Anderson said they’ve been open for a while in the new place located on the ground floor of the Kukui Grove Executive Center, where the Kauai Technical Academy is also situated.
