LIHUE — Wilcox Medical Center is hosting free advance-care planning sessions and to talk with family, friends and health-care providers regarding their preferences about medical treatment if they ever become unable to speak for themselves.
Advance Care Planning facilitators will lead two work sessions to guide participants in completing their advance directives. A notary will also be available for those who want to complete their advance directive with a valid picture I.D.
Sessions will be held on Sept. 25 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. and on Oct. 23 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Wilcox Medical Center Conference Room B/C in Lihue.
