WAILUA — As part of the four-part series presented by the Hawaii Floriculture and Nursery Association, the Kauai presentation will take place on July 17 with a floral design workshop at the Hilton Garden Inn, and a nursery tour on July 18.
“This is a good deal,” said Johnny Gordines of the Hawaii Tropical Flowers & Foliage Association. “After registration from 4 to 5 p.m., guests get a buffet dinner followed by a presentation and demonstrations by world renowned floral designer Hitomi Gilliam. She’ll be joined by Kauai florist Dorothy Yadao, and the greatest part is the hands-on workshop that follows.”

Attendees to the event’s hands-on workshop can expect to create tropical wedding designs with feedback and guidance from both Gilliam and Yadao.
