Ricky Carveiro’s mom had to show picture identification to Ron Wiley Thursday during the Kauai Hospice Concert in the Sky at the Vidinha Stadium soccer fields.
Carveiro was announced as the winner of the grand prize Las Vegas trip for two sponsored by inpac. The prize includes roundtrip airfare from Honolulu for two, five nights hotel, hotel transfers and meals for two.
As a fundraiser for Kauai Hospice, the Concert in the Sky grand-prize registration was limited to the hours of the family fun event that featured a wide range of food, food trucks, entertainment, crafters, and the perennially popular Keiki Fun Zone, where keiki lost little time in taming the hot afternoon heat.
