Shigeno Kuboyama
Shigeno Kuboyama passed away on May 11, 2019, at the age of 92. She was born on Oct. 27, 1926, in Lihue, and was a produce clerk at Kauai Producers.
She is survived by sons Sam (Jean) Kuboyama of Waipahu and Dean (Gayle) Kuboyama of Kapaa, daughter Lynn Kuboyama (Jerry Kabazawa) of Lihue, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services were held. The family requests no koden (monetary gifts).
Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
Bettie Alice McNeil
Bettie Alice McNeil recently passed away. She was born on Oct. 7, 1925, in Louisville, Kentucky, and was a nurse’s aide.
She was preceded in death by parents Herman and Cappie Mandrell.
She is survived by sons Michael McNeil, Jack McNeil, and Barry McNeil, and daughters Connie Booker and Charlene Flowers, all of Louisville, Kentucky, and daughter Patricia Huber of Kekaha, six grandchildren, and one great-great-granchild.
Private services were held.
