What is a Portuguese hot dog with chili on a bun with cheese? That must be one of “da kine food we like to eat” being offered by Hoku Char-Taala of Hoku’s at the Waimea Product Fair coordinated by Memory Robinson, Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the shadow of the old Waimea mill — you just never know what kind of treasures you’ll find on a visit to the Waimea Canyon Middle School (and where was Tory Kagawa?) and the developing mural by its 20 Percent class and teachers Kileen Gilroy, Paige Kemerer, and artist Kalln Mier.
