More Mother’s Day is on tap at Kukui Grove Center, where Mayette Loseto had Mother’s Day lei available during the Thursday Market, and moms take on a “incredible” status Saturday when Kukui Grove hosts a free family movie night. Dinner is where you can find it, and the movie plays on the center’s new screen and sound system.
Mother’s Day is no slouch either, as mom gets treated to Gyspy Swing and Songs from noon, and keiki get to engage in activities celebrating mom, all for free!
Mahalo, Mark Bonilla and Jamba Juice (the Orange Dream was a winner!), who came out with samples of Watermelon Dream for all the vendors of the special TGI Keiki Day issue Thursday at KGC.
Mahalo to the paper-buyers for their help with Parents And Children Together!
Mahalo, too, to all the “celebrity” vendors, including Mayor Derek S.K. Kawakami, who got excited and took a load over to Safeway, and Sara Miura, who broke away from Deja Vu Surf Hawaii to help push papers (mahalo to Jaime Arriola, Dr. Francis Takahashi, Val Rita — how many copies did she get? and all the customers who preferred the personal touch in getting their daily TGI.
