Garth Lavell Jones Jr
Garth Lavell Jones Jr., 71, of Kapaa, passed away at Wilcox Medical Clinic on April 6, 2019. He was born in Utah on Sept. 1, 1947, and retired as a hotel owner in Utah.
Garth is survived by his nephew David (Ellen) Carscadden; cousins, Charlene Dendy, Yvonne Dendy-Malan, Jenise Dendy-Tingey; grandniece Heather Nicole (Denise) Heath; grandnephew Garth Alexander (Zoe Ray) Carscadden and his dear friend Christopher Owens.
Private services will be held.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Debbie Vidinha
Debbie Vidinha, 65 , Wailua, passed away on March 16, 2019, at Stanford, California. Born on July 25, 1953, in Evans City, PA, she was a retired Aerospace Electrician and Sales Associate.
She is preceded in death by her parents David and Vera Broge; sister Tammy Erickson.
She is survived by husband Robert “Bobby” Vidinha of Wailua; step-sons, Alan Jeff Vidinha of PA, Michael J. Vidinha of Idaho; 9 grandchildren; sisters, Terri (Jamey) Newberry of Florida, Tracey Broge of Oregon; numerous uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019, at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 1noon to 3 p.m. Aloha attire suggested.

Kiyoshi Kawamura
Kiyoshi Kawamura passed away on March 13, 2019, in Kilauea. He was born on Aug. 24, 1918, in Hanalei. He was a crane operator at Kilauea Sugar Co. and maintenance worker at Kauai High School.
He is preceded in death by his wife Hanayo Kawamura.
He is survived by his son Steve “Herbie” (Charlotte) Kawamura of Kilauea; daughter Sharon (Robert) Paik of Wailua; brother Calvin Kawamura of Pearl City; sisters, Hanayo Moritsugu of Kilauea, Elaine (Hideo) Watari, Sandra Miyabuchi of Kilauea, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on April 27, at Hongwanji Mission in Kapaa with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. and services to begin at 11 a.m. Family suggests casual attire.
