Mike Dandurand has been doing DJ duty with the March for Babies for a long time, too long to remember. Kudos to Juno Apalla on hosting a great event where about 200 walkers surpassed the March of Dimes fundraising goal, thrilling Pauline Togawa who flew in from Honolulu for the event.
Mike Dandurand has been doing DJ duty with the March for Babies for a long time, too long to remember. Kudos to Juno Apalla on hosting a great event where about 200 walkers surpassed the March of Dimes fundraising goal, thrilling Pauline Togawa who flew in from Honolulu for the event.
Welcome back to Kauai, Debbie Chuckas, who manages the Macy’s store at Kukui Grove Center and took off some time to walk the March for Babies before getting back to “take care of Macy’s customers,” and Matson Senior Supervisor Walter Simpson had his hedge against the flu on as he stood in for Patrick Ono, who was helping with the Hawaii Foodbank Kauai Branch food collection.
Morgan Lopez (she was doing the food bank food collection, too!) had her Visitor Industry Charity Walk shirt on because she said she was going to the Charity Walk bowling tournament before hitting the Relay for Life in Hanapepe. Juno Apalla still had enough energy to get to Hanapepe for the Relay For Life, too.
Kudos to Patti Ornellas, Wes Perreira (you would never know he coordinated the Hawaii Foodbank Kauai Branch food collection drive because Michelle Panoke became a grandma).
Hope everyone got their taxes done on time. Today is the federal deadline for filing without penalty.
