Paz Compomaniz Valdez
Paz Compomaniz Valdez, 95, of Lihue, passed away at home on March 14, 2019. She was born in Koloa on Jan. 24, 1924, and retired from The Foster Grandparent Program.
She is peceded in death by her husband, Francisco Valdez.
Paz is survived by her children, Priscilla Ewing, Franklin F (Sue) Valdez, Doreen (Patricio) Ramelb, Benito (Sharlene) Valdez, Orlando (Rosita) Valdez, Godwin Valdez, Olive Valdez; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Gushi; brothers, Fausto Allosada and Concordio Allosada; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at Lawai Seventh Day Adventist Church with visitation from 8:30 a.m. and services celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be held at Kauai memorial Gardens at 1:30 p.m.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Magdalena Pascual Agbayani, 95, of Lihue, passed away on Feb. 17, 2019, at Garden Isle Health care and Rehab. Born on July 14, 1923 in the Philippines, she was a housekeeper
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Agbayani; daughter, Josefina Agbayani; sons, Generoso and Mario Agbayani; parents, Esteban and Sabina Labayog Pascual; siblings, Genara Pascual, Florida Corpuz, Bensamin Pascual and Esmenia Pascua.
She is survived by her daughters; Vicky Agbayani of Hanamaulu, Linda (Jacinto) Pascua of Kekaha, Julia (Rolando) Delemos of CA, Susana (Moises) Pastor of Hanamaulu, Bina (Famie) Galano of Hanamaulu; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
Wake services on Friday April 5, 2019, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai Rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. and again on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Immaculate Conception Church from 8 to 9:45 a.m. where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. There will be a burial to follow at Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery. Family suggests casual attire. Luncheon to follow
