Betty Ball
Betty Ball, 94, of Lihue, has passed away.
She was born on Feb. 25, 1925 in Chicago, and formerly from Woodland Hills, California.
She was preceded in death by husband Harry Ball, father Irving Bohl and sister Mildred Signet.
She is survived by son Steven (Tana) Ball of Princeville.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Virginia Mary Doughty
Virginia Mary Doughty, 68, of Anahola, passed away at Hale Kapuna Heritage Home on Feb. 12, 2019. She was born in Chicago on Aug. 28, 1950, and retired from Central Lake College in Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by parents Angelo and Esperanza Vitello, and brothers Ray and Bernie Vitello.
She is survived by children Paulette (Coco) Ortiz of Haena, Amethyst Doughty of Princeville, Chris (Natalie) Garcia of Texas, and Jeanette (Jason) Horn of Minnesota, 10 grandchildren, brother Jim Vitello, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
No services will be held.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
