David Murray of the All Saints’ Episcopal Church and Preschool (who knew they were selling malasadas at the All Saints’ gym?) had pancakes for supper, and on Wednesday was on the sidewalks with Mary Margaret Smith (no Thanksgiving meal here) and the Rev. Ray Sheldon offering Ashes to Go.
“Epic” is the word to describe that great Kauai Interscholastic Federation softball game (great job, coaches Shana Tafiti and Teddy Perreira!) that filled Isenberg Park to overflowing (no toilet paper in the women’s restrooms?), where the Red Raiders came back from a 9-3 deficit to defeat Waimea, 16-15, in the bottom of the final inning (no 10-run ruling in five innings here). See the full game coverage on today’s sports pages, B1 and B2.
