Northeast digs out after storm closes schools, slows commute

BOSTON — Temperatures are warming, the sun is shining and snow is melting after a storm dumped more than a foot of snow on parts of the northeastern U.S. overnight, prompting school closures, power outages and a messy Monday morning commute.
