What is going to go on that plywood screen fronting the former Masa’s Sushi on Rice Street?
What is going to go on that plywood screen fronting the former Masa’s Sushi on Rice Street?
Hopefully, the answer should be there as muralist Seth Womble was working on his two-day project to create another masterpiece just a few steps down from the mural created during the Rice Street Block Party. Larry Feinstein (Jim Guerber was off to a robotics meeting) said he would love to have Lihue become known as a gathering place for artistic murals, and Seth said he would love to see a project involving an all-Kauai group of muralists.
Kudos to Ned and Poiy Chakano (she’s got the Thai food truck in Kalaheo, too!) of Kauai Adenium on the great reception of their fried and BBQ banana (using locally grown Thai apple banana) Saturday at the Kauai Community Market at Kauai Community College in Puhi! Feem Paayungiuk is still here, but was busy bagging customer orders.
Mahalo to Kamika Smith and the Smith’s ohana on clearing the overgrowth at the Wailua River so fans of Kauai Interscholastic Federation paddling have a great vantage point for the regattas!
