Gladys Yumiko Togikawa
Gladys Yumiko Togikawa, 94, of Kapaa, passed away on Nov. 2, 2018. She was born in Kealia, Kauai, on Nov. 2, 1924, and retired as an account clerk with the State of Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Yoshikazu “Lefty” Togikawa; parents, Masuichi and Shizuno Hashimoto; and brother, Richard Hashimoto.
Gladys is survived by her son, Miles (Helene) Togikawa; daughter, Camilla (James) Sone; five grandchildren, Janine Togikawa, Michelle Sone, Kobey Togikawa, Kyleigh Arakaki and Brandon Arakaki; brothers, Edward (Miyoko) Hashimoto, Henry (Beatrice) Hashimoto; sister-in-law, Miyeko Hashimoto; and nieces and nephews.
The family is asking no flowers or koden (monetary gifts) be given.
Private services were held.
Kauai Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
