KAPA‘A – The public is advised that a portion of Ke Ala Hele Makālae will be closed for maintenance from today to Thursday, weather permitting.
In partnership with the County of Kaua‘ and with the aid of a $7,000 grant from the Department of Parks and Recreation, volunteers with Kaua‘i Path will perform asphalt maintenance work from the Kealia comfort station to the end of the path, north, located by Palikū Beach.
“Mahalo to the volunteers of Kauai Path who took on this important project for our community,” said Director of Parks and Recreation Lenny Rapozo.
Closure signs will be installed in the work area.
