Justin Thomas and Jared Sunada was second with a score of 61, and Doug Sutter and Randy Byrd was third with 61.1.
“Mahalo to everyone that made this the best fundraiser ever. It really went by smoothly with many help from our parents, board, staff, golfers, Hokuala crew (and) businesses, and you could really feel the love people had for our Junior Golfers,” said Stephanie Shinno, KJGA director of programs and services.
The fundraiser will aid KJGA in developing its junior golfers, including providing free golf lessons, organizing clinics and sessions with PGA professionals at little to no cost, and assisting in higher education pursuits with scholarships to qualified junior golfers.
“Aloha and mahalo to our Kauai Jr. Golf friends and supporters,” said Fran Roach, Hokuala Golf Course general manager. “We are delighted to announce that this year’s fundraising tournament was the best ever due to the kindness and support of local businesses, friends and golfing ohana.”
