Joseph Conrad Kauahi Sr.
Joseph Conrad Kauahi Sr., 67, of Kekaha, passed away on Oct. 30, 2018, at Wilcox Medical Center.
He was born on Aug. 17, 1951, on Kauai, and was a retired law enforcement officer with the Kauai Police Department.
He was preceded in death by parents Clarence and Helen Kauahi, son Joey Kauahi and sister Lorraine Brun.
He is survived by son Keith Kama Kauahi of Kekaha, daughters Crystal Kanani (Richard) Graham of Utah and Heizel Kauahi of Hanapepe, four grandchildren, brothers Anthony (Beverly) Kauahi of Kekaha and Harvey (Collette) Kauahi of Kalaheo, sisters Claire (Charles) Carveiro of Kalaheo, Leila Vasconcellos of Koloa, Verna Kauahi of Koloa and Carol Apilado of Kekaha, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Nov. 17, at St. Theresa Church in Kekaha from 8 to 9:45 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.
The family suggests casual attire.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
