Waterline work scheduled - The Garden Island

LIHUE — The Department of Water and contractor, Goodfellow Bros. Inc., will be conducting waterline installation and connection work alongside a portion of Kaumualii Highway; from the intersection of Waialo Road, connecting to an existing 12-inch waterline at Kona Road, and installing an access road at the Puna Road intersection for improvements.

Scheduled work hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m ; weather permitting, effective Sept. 4.

For the duration of the project, the speed limit through the project area will be reduced to 25 mph.
