Golfers in the Koloa Plantation Days mini golf tournament got a bonus Sunday when Patsy Shaffer of Lawai Beach Resort said they got a generous gift from one of their owners, and combined with the staff updating the resort’s video collection, put out the results in a video giveaway during the Koloa Plantation Days event.
Golfers in the Koloa Plantation Days mini golf tournament got a bonus Sunday when Patsy Shaffer of Lawai Beach Resort said they got a generous gift from one of their owners, and combined with the staff updating the resort’s video collection, put out the results in a video giveaway during the Koloa Plantation Days event.
The Paden ohana came in from Lihue to play in the tournament, but was scared off by the admission price to the Plantation Days rodeo, a portion of which benefited Swim Kauai Aquatics and the Waimea Minihune softball teams.
Hayley Kaeo was busy with the Kauai Junior Lifeguard finals Saturday, and still had enough energy to park cars in the hot CJM Country Stables sun.
Kudos to Joelle Souza on a great Western fashion design show Saturday night at the Sunset Hoolaulea that kicked off the 11-day Koloa Plantation Days at the Poipu Beach Athletic Club, and Savannah Miranda was a great hostess to Presley Doty in showing her the ropes at the Got Game section.
More action is on tap when Jana Clay and the Kauai Historical Society host the plantation exhibit featuring the work of Carol Ann Davis today from 5 p.m. at The Shops at Kukuiula and continuing through the week before moving to the Anne S. Knudsen Park on Saturday for the Koloa Plantation Days post-parade celebration.
