Candidates for Kauai County Council recently filed their financial reports for Jan. 1 to June 30 to the State of Hawaii Campaign Spending Commission.
Here’s a look at their contributions and expenditures.
Councilman Arthur Brun reported contributions of $3,250, including $1,000 from the Hawaii Carpenters Political Action Fund Account. Expenditures totaled $3,037.76.
Councilman Mason Chock reported contributions of $6,666, including a donation of $1,500 from the Hawaii Operating Engineers Industry Stabilization. Expenditures totaled $1,404.36.
Councilman Ross Kagawa reported contributions of $9,700 with $2,000 each from Local Union 1186 IBEW PAC Fund and Hawaii Regional Council of Carpenters. Expenditures, including for such costs as advertising, food and beverages for campaign meetings and contributions to community organizations, totaled $3,320.
Councilman Arryl Kaneshiro reported contributions of $27,649, with donations of $2,000 from the Hawaii Regional Council of Carpenters and $250 from the Kauai AJA Baseball Association. Expenditures totaled $24,029.68.
Kanoe Ahuna reported contributions of $4,000 and zero expenditures.
Juno Apalla reported contributions of $2,010 and expenditures of $1,180.66.
Felicia Cowden reported contributions of $11,392 and expenses of of $7,253.
Norma Doctor Sparks reported contributions of $8,357 and expenditures of $7,954.
Luke Evslin reported contributions of $19,021.58 and expenditures of $14,888.
Victoria Franks reported contributions of $5,5233 and expenditures of $3,266.12.
Richard Fukushima reported $100 in contributions and zero expenditures.
KipuKai Kualii reported a contribution of $2,400 from the Hawaii Regional Council of Carpenters. He reported expenditures of $2,217.65.
Wally Nishimura reported contributions of $2,452 and expenditures of $4,395.
Adam Roversi reported contributions of $3,035 and expenditures of $3,112.91.
Roy Saito reported contributions of $1,835 and expenditures of $2,123.58. He reported loaning his campaign $985.91.
Milo Spindt reported contributions of $11,7361, including $1,180 from Local Union 1186 IBEW PAC. He reported expenditures of $13,003.67.
Shaylene Iseri reported a loan of $4,236 and expenditures of $1,340.
Harold Vidinha reported contributions of $5,500 and expenditures of $1,150.
Those with contributions of less than $1,000 do not have to file reports now.
