Rick Carroll, a former Honolulu Advertiser staffer, wanted to know if you saw the spider web that graced the Soulgood Family performing on the “patio” outside the food vending area outside the mini golf where Aunty M was frying up a batch of pies for the gathering crowd, Saturday at the Kilauea Night Market.

The Kilauea Night Market meets on the final Saturday of each month at the anainahou Community Park in Kilauea at the Kauai Mini Golf where some of the more-than-25 vendors greet guests in the parking lot from 4 to 8 p.m.

There is ample time for a round of mini golf, shopping, or enjoying some of the food and drink from the mini golf food bar that feature the work of Chef Joseph (Martinez), Aida’s Family Cafe, or the Taste of Thai food truck that is parked next to the “green on green” wagon (observed by Carroll’s keen eyes).

The Kilauea Night Market is just one of a full slate of activities and events put on by Anaina Hou Community Park, including the fire show, Pau Hana Fridays, the Paradise Hypnosis Show, Salsa Night, Mo‘olelo Series, Summer Camp, Free Movie Series, and the weekly farmers market.
