Angela Baldonado Adviento
Angela Baldonado Adviento, 93, of Hanamaulu, passed away in Garden Isle Health Care, on May 30, 2018. She was born in Santa, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, on Sept. 13, 1924, and retired as a caretaker with Baris Care Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dominador Adviento; daughters, Myrna Panorel and Florentina Adviento; parents, Mariano Baldonado and Anatalia Garcia; sister, Teodora Banez; and brother, Ciriaco Baldonado.
Angela is survived by three daughters, Elisa (Eugenio) Talaga of the Philippines, Belma (Fel “Boy”) Baris of Lihue, Delia (Renato) Alambat of Hayward, California; seven grandchildren, Michelle Talaga of the Philippines, Michael Talaga of Ontario, Canada, Eric (Trina, MD) Talaga of the Philippines, Jed (Jane) Baris of Union City, California, Jasper (Everild) Baris of Neward, California, Janis (Paul Jr.) Ganaden of San Francisco, California, Abigail Panorel of Las Vegas, Nevada; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Immaculate Conception Church, with viewing from 8 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Inurnment will be held in the Philippines.

Victorino Battad Coma, 93, of Lihue, Kauai, passed away on June 12, 2018, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 24, 1924, in the Philippines, he was a retired maintenance worker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleto and Pilar B. Coma; son, Romie U. Coma; and daughter, Josie Coma.
He is survived by his wife, Corazon Coma of Lihue; sons, Nolie (Helen) Coma of Kaumakani, Melari (Carol) Coma of Kalaheo, Texmie (Grace) Coma of Lihue, Bengie (Agnes) Coma of Eleele; daughters, Leilanie (Edgar) Valenciano of Hanapepe, Emie (Larry) Tanimoto of Lihue and Bettie (Damien Tolentino) Coma of Mililani; daughter-in-law, Estrelita Coma of California; grandchildren, Mark Allan Coma, Darwin Coma, Geraldine Coma, Hazel Coma, Ritchele Coma, Kristen Coma, AJay Coma, RJ Coma, Lindon Valenciano, Lexine Valenciano, Elson Tanimoto, Elshae Tanimoto, Bethany Coma, Abiegail Coma; great-grand- children; sisters, Rosalina Dela Rosa of Philippines, Paz Florida Valenciano of Lawai; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai from 9 to 10:45 a.m. where services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Kalapaki Bay Memorial Park Cemetery in Lihue.

Vicente Carnate Padre, 82, of Kilauea, Kauai, passed away on May 31, 2018, at his home in Kilauea. Born on Nov. 17, 1935, in the Philippines, he retired as a groundskeeper for Hanalei Bay Resort.
He is survived by his two sons, Dante (Aida) Padre of Kilauea, Roy (Espie) Padre of Kilauea; daughters, Imelda (Rey) Martinez of Kapaa, Leticia (Edison) Nacapuy of Kapaa, Marilyn (Rommel) Aguinaldo of Kilauea, Rene (Jonah) Fleming of Kilauea; 10 grandchildren; two great-grand- children; brothers, Pedro Padre of Philippines, Edilberto (Aniceta) Padre of Philippines; sister, Mercedes (Apolinario) Padre of Philippines; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 29, 2018, at St. Catherine Church in Kapaa, from 8 to 9:45 a.m. where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. There will be a burial to follow at St. Catherine Church Cemetery. Casual attire.

Wilson Napomaikaimailunamai Kanahele, Sr., 58, of Makaweli, Kauai, passed away on June 17, 2018, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. Born on Jan. 16, 1960, in Puuwai, Niihau, Wilson was a ranch hand/welder and truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his father, Oihana Leimana Kanahele, Sr.; mother, Evaline Kawaihoola Kamala; brothers, Oihana Leimana Kanahele, Jr. and Bernard Oliwa Kanahele.

Darrell Brian Pundyke, 60, of Hanamaulu, passed away at home, on June 20, 2018. He was born in Lihue, Kauai, on Feb. 10, 1958, and was the proprietor of Kauai Mobile Steam Cleaning and DP Nursery.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John Pundyke.
Darrell is survived by his wife, Penlois “Penny” Pundyke; children, Darrell (Delilah) Pundyke Jr. of Eleele, Jabrielle (Dean) Richarde of Kahili Mountain, Shawn (Jolene) Pundyke of Hanamaulu; father, John Pundyke Jr. of Kapahi; mother, Eleanor (Melvin) Wilson of Wailua Homesteads; five grandchildren, Leiani (Keith) Pimental, Kapena Pimental, Pulelehua Pundyke, Kealohi Pundyke, Anuhea Pundyke; siblings, Darlene (Howard) Ramos of Lihue, Brenda Vidinha of Anahola, Bradley Pundyke of Wailua Homesteads, Tammy (Sterling) Oana of Las Vegas, Nevada; best buddy, Shadow; and numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Takako Uno Ishikawa, 84, of Hanapepe, Kauai, passed away on June 19, 2018, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. Born on Dec. 26, 1933, on Kapiolani, Oahu, she was a housewife, teacher, orchid farmer and lei maker.
She loved doing her crossword puzzles, puzzles, reading books, watching University of Hawaii sports and sewing. She was loving thoughtful, generous, cherished, supportive, humorous, “So Cute,” cheerful and humble.
She was preceded in death by husband, Ralph Ishikawa; son, Ian Ishikawa; and parents, Masao and Midori Uno.
She is survived by sons, Wade (Grace) Ishikawa of Hanapepe, Robert (Donna) Ishikawa of Hanapepe; daughter, Lynn (Craig) Hayashi of Hanapepe; grandchildren, Tracie (Lindsey) Ibara, Bryan Hayashi, Christopher Ishikawa, Tori Ann Ishikawa, Shelcie Kailikini, Kevin Kailikini and Travis Kailikini; great-grandchildren, Bradley Hayashi, Kenzo Ibara, Jordyn Fune, Justin Fune, Bronson Kailikini, Kaulawena Kailikini, Ha’aheo Kailikini, Logan Kailikini, Noah Kailikini; sister, Ethel Nishi of Oahu, Ann Inouye of California; sister-in-law, Betty Matsukawa of Lihue; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Paige-Anne Ku’uleinanionapua Keiko Teves passed away on June 13, 2018. She worked as a registered nurse at various hospitals in Portland, Oregon.
She is survived by parents Rodney Teves and Tammy Nakamura, and maternal grandfather Paul Nakamura.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandmother Charlotte Nakamura and paternal grandparents John and Katie Teves.
Services will be held on July 6, 2018, with visitation at 6 p.m. and Celebration of Life at 7 p.m.
