Alice Akiko Kawasaki Hatakeyama, 90, of Kapaa, passed away at home on June 13, 2018. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Nov. 15, 1927, and retired from Yamada’s Cleaners.
Preceded in death by her husband, Sakae Hatakeyama; parents, Yasuichi and Yae Tasaka Kawasaki; brothers, Clifford Hiroshi Kawasaki, George Kawasaki; sisters, Helen Yae Zane, Ruth Yamada, Irene Yagi and Elaine Honda; great-grandson, Thomas Patrick Sakae Leines.
Alice is survived by four children, Michael (Darlene) Hatakeyama, Michael (April) Womack, Sharon Contrades, Joy (Les Koshi) Hatakeyama; 6 grandchildren, Michael (Darlene) Contrades, Leslie (Lee Gusman) Womack, Michele (Danny Rego) Womack, Elisabeth (Dayne) Tomori, Jennifer (Joshua) Leines, John Hatakeyama; 5 great-grandchildren, Micah Contrades, Courtney Contrades, Joshua Rego, Gavin Leines, Lucy Leines; sisters, Sharon (Jack) Gushiken, Shirley Yonemura; numerous nieces and nephews.

Richard Iuda Kealoha Kaulike ‘Pinao’ Kanahele
Richard Iuda Kealoha Kaulike “Pinao” Kanahele, 61 years old, of Kekaha, Kauai,passed away on May 18, 2018, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. Born on Dec. 4, 1956, in Puuwai, Niihau, he was the lead gardener for 39 years with the National Tropical Botanical Gardens.
He is preceded in death by his father, William K. Kanahele; mother, Martha M. Kaohelaulii Kanahele; sisters, Martha K. Kanahele Niau, Rebecca Kanahele Niau; brother, Lionel Kanahele
He is survived by his wife, Mary Beth Girod of Kekaha; hanai-daughter, Jaylynn K. Kanahele of Kekaha; brother, Ambrose (Iwa) Kanahele of Kekaha; brother-in-laws, Sonny A. Niau of Kekaha, Michael (Tina) Girod of Kekaha, Matthew (Luciana) Girod of Maryland; hanai-sister, H. Pualei Kaohelaulii of Kekaha and one uncle; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Garden Island Mortuary Chapel, in Lawai at 10 a.m. A private scattering at sea will be held at a later date.

Gregorio ‘Greg’ Rosario Stoll
Gregorio “Greg” Rosario Stoll, 64 years old, of Kapaa, Kauai, passed away on May 30, 2018, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. Born on March 9, 1954, on the Island of Pohnpei, Micronesia, he was a retired culinary trained chef/owner of G’s Fish Co., Inc. and co-owner of U’ilani Farms in Kealia.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mikelina Stoll; father, Welerino Rosario; grandparents, Isidoro and Lucia Stoll.
He is survived by his wife, Sonya Barretto Stoll; daughters, Andie (Mario) Stoll-Tolentino of Hanamaulu, Sarah Ewer of Wisconsin, Sheena (Del) Tuazon of Oahu, Sade (Josh) Thomas of Australia, Shawn Nakai Villatora of Omao; sons, Aaron Villatora of Oregon, Anson Pa’a Villatora of Kapahi; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at Kealia Farms Market, on Thursday, June 28, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Brothwick/Kauai Mortuary chapel, in Koloa, from 9 a.m. and services will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Following Saturday’s services we will be serving lunch at Peter Rayno Park pavilion in Hanamaulu. His final resting place will be back in Pohnpei, Micronesia.

Wilson Napomaikaimailunamai Kanahele, Sr., 58 years old, of Makaweli, Kauai, passed away on June 17, 2018, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. Born on Jan. 16, 1960, in Puuwai, Niihau Wilson was a ranch hand/welder and truck Driver.
He is preceded in death by his father, Oihana Leimana Kanahele, Sr; mother, Evaline Kawaihoola Kamala; brothers, Oihana Leimana Kanahele, Jr. and Bernard Oliwa Kanahele.

Peter Nyland Adams
Peter Nyland Adams, 67, of Lihue, passed away at home, on June 15, 2018. He was born in Hawaii, on Oct. 27, 1950, retired from private practice as an attorney and also a member of the 32nd Degree Mason with Hawaiian Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his father, Moses Hulama Adams.
Peter is survived by his wife, Catherine Adams; mother, Patricia Adams of Wisconsin; brothers, Michael Eckrich and Moses Hulama Adams III, both of Wisconsin, Aaron Hulama Adams of Honolulu; numerous nieces and nephews.
Inurnment will be held in Wisconsin at a later date.

Eddie Nelson Soltren
Eddie Nelson Soltren, 72, of Wainiha, passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, on June 20, 2018. He was born in Puerto Rico, on Sept. 19, 1945. He was a builder and co-owner of Eddie and Luis Soltren Construction.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Filomena Soltren and sister, Trunilda Soltren.
Eddie is survived by his spouse, Nancy Soltren; 2 daughters, Diane Soltren and Carmen Maria (Edward) Soltren Ruddy; sister, Maria Rivera; 5 brothers, Wigberto Soltren, Raymond (Yvonne) Soltren, Luis (Jocelyn) Soltren, George (Gloria-deceased) Soltren, Hexy (Vicky) Soltren; 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Kilauea with visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Services will begin at 11 a.m.
