Liz was going over the collection of winners (24 of the 30 fish she entered won!) from a Canadian betta show to add the Canadian ribbons to her cache of ribbons and plaques. Meanwhile, Candace Boxer of Ono Pops had no menehune pie since Greg Askew took their supply to the King’s Celebration, where he was distributing them hand over hand to all those who were trying to beat the heat (it’s summer already!).
Ferdinand Dosono and his Kauai Kim Chee ohana are getting excited about being part of the Pacific Missile Range Facility July 4th public event for the first time (it’s Tuesday, July 3). That didn’t stop Marley Samio from stopping by to celebrate completing the ACT test with an overflow helping of kalbi.
And kudos to Tiffany Dick and her Aloha Dance Studio ohana (including some of her new staff!) for the holiday treat where her Minis, Junior and Senior groups showed off some of their award-winning routines from the JUMP event on Oahu at the Kukui Grove Center stage.
Happy King Kamehameha Day!
