Donnie Dee Libre of Hanapepe, a retired heavy equipment operator, has passed away on May 18, 2018. He was born in Kaumakani, Kauai.
He is survived by his wife, Yolande Pantohan Libre; sons, Isaac (Reyna Banasihan) Libre of Waimea, Abel (Kimberly Scott) Libre of Seaside, Oregon, Jonah (Danae Esias) Libre of Aiea, Oahu; brothers, Lydell Felix (Yvonne) Libre of Kailua-Kona, Floyd Lyle (Peggy Robley) Libre of Hanapepe; sisters, Rhoda (Michael Hayton) Libre of Puhi, Suzette Libre Scherich of California; mother, Fely (Igne Libre) Faulkner; step-father, Dr. Gerry Faulkner; grandchildren, Kaleb Libre, Alohilani Libre, Kairey Banasihan, Zariah Libre, Brayden Libre, Nixon Kaimanaalohaokalani Libre, Maddox Kameahookeleokekai Libre, caregiver; nieces, Krystal Libre and Brittany Libre. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Felix Dong Libre and sister, Vida Libre Simmons.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 15, at St. Theresa Church in Kekaha from 9 to 10 a.m. after which Mass shall follow. Casual attire. Burial to follow on June 17, at Kekaha Cemetery.

Gwendolyn Mae Taeza
Gwendolyn Mae Taeza, 77 years old, of Kapaa, Kauai, passed away on May 16, 2018, at her home in Kapaa. Born on April 27, 1941, in Honolulu, Hawaii, she retired as a Preschool Teacher at Stepping Stones School and also as a Sales Associate and Seamstress for Pono Cleaners.
She is survived by her sons, Matthew (Lani) Taeza of Waimea, Kauai, Mark Taeza of Maui, John Taeza, Jr. of Virginia; daughter; Holly (Sam) Moises of Kapaa; grandchildren, Ronessa Alisna, Peter Alisna, Tyrus Moises, Bailee Taeza, Matthew K. Taeza, Jessica Taeza, Jazzerie Taeza, Tristan Taeza, Selah Taeza, Shazlyn Taeza, Bryson Taeza; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leroy Santos Sr. of Wailua, David Santos, Jr. of Lihue; sisters, Margaret Villatora of Kapaa, Barbara Ventura of Kapaa; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapaa from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., with internment to follow at the St. Catherine’s Church Cemetery.
Casual attire suggested.

Clyde Nakamura
Clyde Nakamura, was born in Lihue, Kauai, on April 30, 1950. He taught auto mechanics at American Pacific College in California.
Clyde is survived by his wife, Graciela “Chile” Nakamura; daughters, Melinda Nakamura, Melissa Nakamura, Jennifer Garcia, Jessica Lopez, Claudia Nakamura and Carla Nakamura; grandchildren, Kylee Munoz, Jadee Munoz, Riley Munoz, Ryan Munoz. Emilia Garcia, Avelia Garcia, Ahnalia Garcia, Kenichi Lopez, Yasuko Lopez, Kazuhiro Lopez, Christopher Casas, Lily Casas, Emma Casas, Kal-El Gonzalez, Kara Gonzalez.
Also survived by his brother, Milton Nakamura; sisters, Irene Nitta and Marie Hashimura. Surrounded by his family, Clyde passed away peacefully on May 23, 2018, in Sylmar California. Services will be held in California.
Charmaine Puaala Kalama Kaneshiro
Charmaine Puaala Kalama Kaneshiro, 61 years old, of Kekaha, Kauai, passed away on April 30, 2018, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. Born on March 7, 1957, in Honokohau, Maui, she was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her mom, Rose Kaluna Kalama.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick Y Kaneshiro of Kekaha, Kauai; sons, Kaeo Kalama Kaneshiro of Florida, Alaka’i Kalama Kaneshiro of Kekaha, Kauai; daughter, Abrielle ( Andrew) Kaiulani Apuna of Kekaha, Kauai; grandchildren, Alia Apuna, Amaya Apuna, Analu Apuna; father, Stephen Kalama Sr. of Waianae, Oahu; brothers, Reginald (Maria) Kalama of Wahiawa, Rayden (Rhonda) Kalama of Maui, Stephen Kalama Jr. of Waianae; sisters, Leolani (Harold) Kalama of Hawaii Island, Gordean (Scott) Kauihou of Waianae, Oahu, Jocelyn “Momi” Kalama of Waianae, Oahu, Collette Kalama of Waianae, Oahu; numerous uncle , aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Felisita Loretta ‘Sitang’ Domingo King
Felisita Loretta “Sitang” Domingo King, 91 years old, of Lihue, Kauai, peacefully and gracefully fell asleep in death on May 15, 2018, at The Garden Isle Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was born on Jan. 28, 1927, in Waimea, Kauai.
She is survived by her daughters, Angelita “Lita”/“Angie” (Unciano) Mello of Aiea, Oahu, Nieves (Allen) Bobiles of Lihue, Kauai; brothers, Sylvester “Bestre” Domingo of Kekaha, Kauai, Raymondo “Mondo” (Janet) Domingo of Hanamaulu, Kauai and Ernesto “Ernie” Domingo of Lihue, Kauai; granddaughter, Tanya (Reggie) Aribon of Hanamaulu, Kauai; grandsons, Sean Bobiles and Justin Bobiles of Lihue, Kauai, Angel Unciano, Jr. of Oahu; great-grandson, Travis (Alamea) Igaki-Aribon of Portland, Oregon; hanai granddaughter, Vicky Magnuski of Lihue, Kauai, along with many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Justo and Susana Domingo of Waimea, Kauai; brother, Flaviano Phillip “Bianong” (Erika) Domingo of Augusta, Georgia; sisters, Frances “Sayang” Short of Tillamook, Oregon and Folgencia“Inshiang” Abrams of Lihue, Kauai; sister-in-law, Juana Domingo of Kekaha, Kauai.
