LIHUE — This year, 35 outstanding Hawaii high school students, including two from Kauai, and prior enlisted military members, have been accepted into four of the U.S. service academies, and an additional 10 have been appointed to the U.S. service academy preparatory schools.
LIHUE — This year, 35 outstanding Hawaii high school students, including two from Kauai, and prior enlisted military members, have been accepted into four of the U.S. service academies, and an additional 10 have been appointed to the U.S. service academy preparatory schools.
Jack Machorek and Larissa Tsai, 2018 Kauai High graduates, were accepted into the U.S. Military Academy (West Point).
“Thousands of students apply to these prestigious military academies with strong academic achievements and outstanding character with the commitment to serve the nation,” said Dennis Gibson, senior vice president of Booz Allen Hamilton.
