DICKSON, Tenn. — The Latest on the fatal shooting of a Tennessee sheriff’s deputy (all times local):
11:20 p.m.
Authorities have arrested a woman in connection to the death of a Tennessee sheriff’s deputy who was fatally shot while responding to a call by a resident about a suspicious car.
In a statement Wednesday night the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says that it had developed information that 38-year-old Erika Castro-Miles had “participated in the incident.”
Castro-Miles was already in custody and now has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Dickson County Sergeant Daniel Baker.
She remains in custody at the Dickson County Jail. It’s not immediately known if she has an attorney.
Authorities are still searching for suspect Steven Joshua Wiggins. The reward for information leading to his arrest has increased to $12,500. They consider him armed and dangerous.

Authorities have identified the Tennessee sheriff’s deputy who was fatally shot while responding to a call by a resident about a suspicious car.
Dickson County Sheriff Jeff Bledsoe said Sgt. Daniel Baker was killed early Wednesday.
Bledsoe said Baker had been with the Dickson County sheriff’s office for 10 years and worked his way up the ranks quickly. Baker is survived by his wife and a daughter.
Bledsoe said his agency has lost a brother, and the community has lost a hero.
Authorities are still searching for suspect Steven Joshua Wiggins. They consider him armed and dangerous.

Authorities say the reward has increased to $7,500 for information leading to the arrest of a man sought by police in the fatal shooting of a Tennessee sheriff’s deputy.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives helped increase the reward for information on Steven Joshua Wiggins.
Authorities have said the Dickson County deputy was shot and killed early Wednesday after a responding to a call about a suspicious vehicle. They have not released the deputy’s name.
They say Wiggins remains at large and is believed to be armed and dangerous. State, federal and local authorities have launched a manhunt.

Authorities say a Tennessee sheriff’s deputy who was shot and killed was responding to a call by a resident about a suspicious car.
Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Susan Niland said at a news conference that the Dickson County deputy couldn’t be contacted Wednesday for some time after responding to the call. The deputy’s car was then tracked by GPS to a location 2 or 3 miles (3 to 5 kilometers) away, and the deputy was found dead inside of it. The deputy’s name has not been released.
Niland says the suspect was captured on video. Authorities have identified him as Steven Joshua Wiggins. They say he’s still at large and is believed to be armed and dangerous. State, federal and local authorities have launched a manhunt, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has announced a reward of up to $2,500 for any information leading to his arrest.
Niland says a female is being interviewed in the case.

The man sought by police in the fatal shooting of a Tennessee sheriff’s deputy was charged the previous day with aggravated assault of a woman and vehicle theft.
A report from the Kingston Springs Police Department says Steven Joshua Wiggins slapped the woman in her face and pulled out some of her hair Tuesday. The report says the woman stated that Wiggins put a gun to her head and threatened to kill her if she called the police, then he grabbed her car keys and took the car without her permission.
The woman also told police Wiggins was “doing meth all night and smoking marijuana.”
The report says the woman plans to press charges.
Authorities say Wiggins is at large and believed to be “armed and dangerous.”

Tennessee authorities are offering a monetary reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in the fatal shooting of a Tennessee sheriff’s deputy.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation tweeted Wednesday that it has placed Steven Joshua Wiggins on its Top 10 Most Wanted list and is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to his arrest.
The bureau believes Wiggins fatally shot an unidentified sheriff’s deputy during a traffic stop early Wednesday in Dickson County.
The agency also has sent an alert about the suspect to cellphones in the area.

Tennessee authorities say a sheriff’s deputy has been fatally shot and a suspect believed to be “armed and dangerous” is still at large.
A Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesman told news outlets the suspect was involved in an altercation with the Dickson County deputy early Wednesday after a vehicle was reported stolen.
The Humphreys County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as Steven Wiggins, who is described as a white male with balding brown hair.
