Virginia ‘Coco’ Chong
Virginia “Coco” Chong, 93, of Lawai, passed away on May 9, 2018, at Wilcox Medical Center.
She was born on April 6, 1925, in Honolulu.
She was preceded in death by parents John M. Koko and Agnes Kealohanui, husband Henry Joseph Chong, and son Russell Chong.
She is survived by daughter Renee (Max) Medeiros, son Ricky (Lahela) Chong, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, June 2, at St. Damien Kaunakakai Church in Molokai from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Patrick Killilea.
The family suggests casual attire.
Borthwick Kauai Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
